The Alexandra War Memorial is a statue of a World War I soldier with arms reversed, left foot forward, on a bluestone pedestal on a circular concrete base. The statue and plaques on the memorial are painted in a copper metallic paint. The memorial was unveiled on March 10th 1924 by the Governor of Victoria, Lord Stradbroke.
